What do I need to do to prepare my house for the cleaning team? Takes you to the top of the page

We ask that you leave the check, cleaning cloths, trash bag etc. on the kitchen counter.  You will receive the most value for your money if you put away clothes, toys, mail, dishes and other “clutter” so that we can immediately
get to work.  Please put jewelry, money and other valuables away.

How many people are on a team? Takes you to the top of the page

Our teams are 3 to 4 people depending on the work load for the day.  We might occasionally send 2.

What time will the team arrive? Takes you to the top of the page

We cannot guarantee a specific time of arrival, but we do give you a 2 hour window.  We will call or email you the day before unless you have indicated that you do not desire a reminder call.

 Are teams supervised? Takes you to the top of the page

Yes, each team has a Team Supervisor to see that the cleaning tasks are properly completed.  Our Manager of Quality Control makes periodic visits to homes to ensure that our high standards are being met.

What forms of payment do you take? Takes you to the top of the page

We accept cash, check, Visa and MasterCard. Payment is due at the time of service. Please call the office if you want to pay with a credit card.

Do you bring your own supplies? Takes you to the top of the page

Yes, we provide everything needed to clean your home except cleaning cloths, trash bags, paper towels, and any special products you wish to provide for use on floors, furniture etc. We ask that you leave at least 15 clean terry wash cloths and a roll of paper towels.  You may have Huff-N-Puff provide the cleaning cloths for an additional fee of $3.00.

Do I need to be home when you come to clean? Takes you to the top of the page

No, you can leave an admit slip if you live in a condominium, or you can give the office a key.  We do not recommend leaving the door unlocked.

How are keys protected? Takes you to the top of the page

All keys are secured in a locked key safe and accessed by management; no names are on the keys.  Team supervisors sign out the keys in the AM and sign them in at the end of the day; management returns them to the key safe.

Am I responsible for any payroll taxes or insurance? Takes you to the top of the page

No, Huff-N-Puff Cleaning pays all payroll related expenses including liability, bonding and Workers’ Compensation Insurance.

Should I tip the cleaning team? Takes you to the top of the page

Team members do not expect tips, but are permitted to accept them should you choose to recognize them for excellent service.
