Covid-19 Safety

Employees are asked the following questions before clocking in.

1. Have you traveled outside of Maryland or been in contact with anyone who has traveled out of Maryland in the last 14 days?

2. Have you had close contact with or cared for someone diagnosed with COVID-19 or who has been under quarantine in the past 14 days?

3. Have you experienced a fever greater than 100, cough or shortness of breath?

Huff-N-Puff Cleaning Services checks employee temperatures upon arrival.

Employees are required to wear masks. Employees will be provided with both vinyl and rubber gloves.

We will sanitize our equipment with an alcohol based cleaner after each home.

We will sanitize high touch areas with an alcohol-based solution.

We will use social distancing, staggering arrival times to office so that we do not have more than 2 teams at one time. We do have enough space in our office including 2 large gathering rooms.

***In addition, we are no longer going to be carrying toilet brushes with us from home to home. We ask that you provide one for each bathroom for sanitary and health reasons. If you do not have one, we will be happy to provide you with one or more for a small charge.

***We are asking our clients to wear a face mask if you are going to be in the same area as our employees. They have requested this.

***We are asking for “no contact” between clients and employees because of the “Contact Tracing” that takes place if a client or employee tests positive for the virus. Many of you are home and just a few simple steps will make this possible. Make entry to your home possible without you having to open the door. If you pay by check, leave a check in an envelope on the counter with any supplies you provide. If there are extra charges, we will send a bill and you can mail it or call the office with a credit card. Please be in another area of the house where there are none of our employees. If you need a room cleaned first so you can go there, please let us know ahead of time. We are more than happy to discuss various ways to make this happen. We certainly do not want to inconvenience you. We do not want any of our employees to be named as a close contact should you test positive and I know that you do not want to be named as one either if one of our employees test positive. Close contacts are required to quarantine. A person is considered a close contact if they are within 6 feet for more than 15 minutes.
