No, Huff-N-Puff Cleaning pays all payroll related expenses including liability, bonding and Workers’ Compensation Insurance.
We ask that you leave the check, cleaning cloths, trash bags, and any specialty cleaners on the kitchen counter. You will receive the most value for your money if you tidy up the areas where we will be cleaning. Please put away clothes, toys, mail, dishes and other “clutter” so that we can immediately get to work. Please put jewelry, money and valuables away.
All keys are secured in a locked key safe and accessed by management; no names are on the keys. Team supervisors sign out the keys in the morning and sign them in at the end of the day when management returns them to the key safe.
No. You may give us a key which we will always store in our key safe. If you live in an apartment or condo, you can leave an admit slip, or you can give the office a key. We do not recommend leaving the door unlocked.
Yes. We proudly use Green Seal certified products and we de-ionize our water right here in our facility in Kensington, MD. Using Green products accompanied by the filtered water helps us continue to accomplish our green cleaning initiatives. In addition, it is our policy never to use bleach, even when requested by a customer.
Yes, we provide everything needed to clean your home except cleaning cloths, trash bags, paper towels, and any special products you wish to provide for use on floors, granite counter tops or furniture. We ask that you leave at least 15 clean terry wash cloths and a roll of paper towels. You may have Huff-N-Puff provide the cleaning cloths for an additional fee of $3.00. We use microfiber cloths.
We require a $50 non-refundable deposit to hold your first cleaning. We take Visa and MasterCard and can process your payment securely over the phone.
We accept check, and Visa, and MasterCard. Payment is due at the time of service. Customers paying by check can leave the check on the kitchen counter for the Team Supervisor to retrieve. Credit card customers are charged at the time of service. Some customers desire to send an e-check from their financial institution.
Yes, each team has a Team Supervisor to see that the cleaning tasks are properly completed. Our Manager of Quality Control makes periodic and sometimes spontaneous visits to homes to ensure that our high standards are being met.
We cannot guarantee a specific time of arrival, but we do give you a 2-hour window. We will call, text, or email you the day before unless you have indicated that you do not desire a reminder.
Our teams consist of 2-3 people depending on work load and the location of homes for the day.
